Applicants travelling to Iran for Studies are required to enter Iran on a Student Visa,
Student Visa will be authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran, for the student visa you should have acceptance letter of the university you will be studying in besides registration in student affairs organization of Iran.
Please note:
Issuance of student visa is the sole discretion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran.
Students travelling on Tourist, Business or Pilgrimage visa will be required to go out of the country and come back on a student visa to continue their studies in the respected universities.
Application Procedure Timeline
- After submission Student Visa will be ready between 15 to 30 working days.
- Depends on nationality you will be required to go to a nearby Iranian Embassy for Visa Stamping and takes one to seven working days.
- Passport validity should be more than 6 months
