Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) is one of the largest public medical universities in Iran, founded in 1974 in Tehran, located near Milad Tower — the sixth-tallest tower in the world. Since 1986, the University has conducted all academic activities under the administrative authority of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
It is among the most well-known academic health centers both nationally and regionally. Its students rank among the top 1% in Iran's national university entrance exams.

IUMS welcomes international students to various degree programs, including Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing. It holds Premier Status accreditation from the Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC), recognized by the UK Department for Education and Skills (DfES) and the UK Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted).
